How do you reach Cagliari without a car from the airport?
Elmas Aeroporto station is roughly a five-minute covered walk from the terminal. The official journey to Cagliari Centrale takes about five to seven minutes, with an advertised average frequency around twenty minutes. The current single fare is €1.30.
Select Elmas Aeroporto rather than Cagliari Elmas. Machines are available in the terminal and station, and Trenitalia sells the tickets. For a very early or late flight, the official taxi is the backup, with a current daytime minimum fare of €17 to the centre.

Visit Molentargius without a car
The park covers about 1,600 hectares between Cagliari and Quartu Sant’Elena. General access is free for walking, cycling and birdwatching. Sali Scelti offers information, rentals and visits, while official guides enter selected protected areas.
A successful sighting depends on time, light and binoculars rather than a commercial promise. Flamingos are wild: they may be numerous, distant or absent from one precise viewpoint. Stay on routes and respect nesting areas.
