Neustadt
St Michael’s, central canals and Landungsbrücken remain walkable. The premium often makes sense over a short weekend.
St Georg
The S1 and long-distance trains reach Hauptbahnhof. A Lange Reihe base also gives quick Alster access.

How do you reach the centre from Hamburg Airport?

St Michael’s, centre, Alster and one long visit
St Michael’s church is free to enter; the tower is currently €8 for an adult. Keep the climb for clear weather because the view is the reason to pay.
