Faro Airport is the gateway, but arrival does not guarantee an immediate connection to Lagos or Tavira. Compare train, bus, transfer and car with the real flight time. Off-season frequency may be lower; a late fare can force a night in Faro.

Regional trains link several eastern and western towns, with final walking or bus legs. They support a car-free stay in Faro, Tavira or Lagos but do not follow the cliff line. Build outward and return journeys before describing a beach or path as “accessible by train”.
